The 2023 Opportunity Outdoors Mentored Turkey Camp was everything we could have hoped for and more.

Over twenty new hunters joined ten mentors in the Pisgah National forest for a weekend full of everything turkey hunting and wild stream fishing. Many hunters got to experience turkey hunting with support from our dedicated mentors who showed out for the weekend. Wild game was shared, new friendships were formed, and the ever elusive wild turkey got the most of us yet again. However, Co-founder and Vice President Andy Tomaszewski connected on a beautiful longbeard the first morning of camp!

We we want to thank all who joined camp for contributing and being great participants on our biggest camp yet. A special shout out goes to the mentors who joined to help pass along knowledge and offer up support to emerging hunters. We look forward to next turkey season and are planning away. Until then, practice your yelps and clucks.
